Volunteer Opportunities
We are always looking for people to volunteer for disaster services. If you are interested in volunteering, there are courses available to train you in the skills needed for disaster relief. As a volunteer with our chapter, you will have many opportunities to explore. Such as:
1. provide assistance to persons involved in disasters (i.e., fires, floods, tornadoes, etc.) 2. canteen for emergency workers (i.e., police, fire, etc.) 3. canteen for Blood Services at blood drives 4. pass messages for the military & their families 5. Response to disasters locally, statewide, nationally or internationally.
We Need Your Help!
We are currently in need of drivers for the Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) and people to set up and oversee disaster shelters. Training is available at no charge. If you would like to become a disaster volunteer click here -> Volunteer Application , print out the application and mail it to our office or bring it by if your in town.
